For several generations, the two wine-growing families have been linked by the same vineyards, sharing their knowledge and skills.
But first in 2011, the three cousins Elise Clerfeuille and Francesca and Maria Cavallo realised their dream of their own vineyard in the village of Fragagnano, not far from Taranto, and since then they have been creating wines from the typical regional grape varieties with a lot of love and passion. The name a6mani means "to the six hands".
Apulia is one of the most beautiful regions in Italy. As the region is characterised by a very dry and hot climate with little rainfall and the clay soils are also rather sparse, the yields of the grapes are kept low in a natural way. It is precisely in this climate that two typical regional grape varieties, Primitivo and Negroamaro, are particularly comfortable. The result is a lush and full-bodied wine that, thanks to the many hours of sunshine, is endowed with a seductive touch of fruit.
