The Heredad Reserva Brut DO from Segura Viudas is an absolute premium cava from the Macabeo (67%) and Parellada (33%) grape varieties.

Not only the decorative bottle with the tin foot is a real eye-catcher, but also the bright golden yellow color with silver reflections. The perlage shows itself with long lasting and fine pearl strings. In the nose this sparkling wine from Spain presents ripe yeast tones with fruity notes of citrus and yellow fruits. The palate is pampered by notes of dried apricot and nuances of lime and forest honey. The long finish reflects the wonderful aromas.

Vinification of Heredad Reserva Brut

The grapes for this Segura Viudas cava are carefully harvested by hand. The Macabeo and Parellada grapes come from 15-20 year old vines. After the first temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the grapes are stored on the yeast for 30 months (bottle fermentation).

This Cava is a great food companion to Asian cuisine - like Nasi Goreng, Saté skewers with peanut sauce or also Curry Rendang - Spanish tapas and to fine liver pâtés and hard cheese.
