degú - Fresh Varietal Wines from Languedoc
The grapes for the degú line of wines come from the rolling hills between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. In this region, each and every grape variety can find the right place to suit its individual character. In general, this region is known for its fairly cool, wet winters and warm, windy summers – excellent conditions for winegrowing.
The degú line was developed in conjunction with Vignobles Foncalieu, the leading quality cooperative in southern France. Nathalie Estribeau , known as 'The Flying Winemaker', is responsible for her team of vintners and the care of the individual vineyards. This experienced oenologist selects the right grapes for the Degú wines during the harvest. Degú offers a selection of the most important varieties in Languedoc in the very best quality. These wines also have a design befitting their characteristics: youthful freshness, fruitiness, varietal typicity and pleasure.
