Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2018 - Elio Filippino

The Langhe Nebbiolo from Elio Filippino from 100% Nebbiolo grapes is produced in the family winery in a typical and gentle way.

This Italian red wine appears in the glass in a strong garnet red. Fruity aromas of raspberries and cherries are wonderfully present in the bouquet. On the palate this wine is intense and elegant at the same time and is carried by a strong body. The finale has a wonderful length.

Vinification of Langhe Nebbiolo Elio Filippino

Elio Filippino is the third generation to run the estate with great enthusiasm and awareness. This Langhe Nebbiolo is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 15 months in Slavonian oak barrels, in keeping with tradition and yet with a modern approach. This gives this red wine its soft, round and fruity character.

This dry red wine from Italy is the perfect accompaniment to salty pasta, braised meat and strong cheeses.
