Osborne - sherry, Brandy, Port
The Spanish company Osborne was founded in 1772 in the town of El Puerto de Santa Maria with a small bodega for sherry. In the following years, the company was further expanded: first the production of brandy was added, which soon expanded by the rapid spread in the Spanish market. Later, the production of anise brandy, wine, ham and port wines followed. Although wine and sherry still play an important role in the company, Osborne is primarily famous for its Brandy de Jerez.
The family-owned company, which is now in its sixth generation, employs more than 900 people worldwide and sells its products in 40 countries. The manufacturer's trademark is a bull. The memorable symbol, designed in 1956, embodies the temperament, expression and character of Osborne products. 90 of the Osborne bulls now adorn the highways of Spain and mark important points of the local landscape.
