Vilafonté Series M 2016 - Vilafonté

Vilafoné's Vilafonté Series M is a Merlot dominated blend with a velvety and intense bouquet. In the glass it appears crimson red and spoils the palate with a complex fruit aroma from black cherry to raspberry jam and prune. During the ripening period of 18 months in French barriques, a wonderful oak tannin and a roasted note were perfectly integrated in the finish. The M-Series stands for a cuvée dominated by Merlot and Malbec.

This South African is a wonderful companion to Coq au Vin and meat dishes such as Beef Wellington.
